Key Points
- US pushing out natives from southern US.
- Natives go to Oklahoma
- US forces out natives adding to expansions and adding to their power.
- Might make B.N.A colonies concerned that their next to get kicked out
Summary
The Trail of Tears shows Manifest destiny because the US is expanding rapidly. Which not only makes them (The US) believe they are gaining power, but it is also making others begin to fear what they can do. After pushing out the natives from their homes who knows what they could do next! The US has the potential to take land as they've shown, if they want it they're going to try and take it. Since they bought the large chunk of land (some of which very near to B.N.A colonies) they could in the future want to expand more northwards. This affects B.N.A colonies because they could be overcome by the US and just like the natives be forced to move. Although the movement of the natives by the US doesn't personally have an affect on B.N.A colonies (because they moved more south), the actual act of pushing out the natives does (because it gave the US more power and more land).
